Leslie Hom

Leslie was born on December 4, 1926 to parents Florence Shee Hom and Thlick Geam "TG" Hom in Manhattan, New York. He spent his childhood in and attended Pui Ching Middle School in Hong Kong. Mitsue was born on January 21, 1925 in Hong Kong to parents Hm Kuan Ke and Wong Kong Lrap. She immigrated first to Japan and then later to the U.S.

He met Mitsue at his family burger - Kins - in El Cerrito, CA. They were married in 1964. They raised three children - Mitsuko, Sadahiro, and Masaharu. Leslie managed a team at the City and County of San Francisco for the rest of his career. Mitsue realized her dream of passing the cosmetology licensing exam and opening her own salon - The Elegant Lady - in San Pablo, CA. 

They were most passionate about their trips overseas and helping to raise their grandchildren. 

Spending time with their family and seeing everyone thrive gave them the most joy. 

Mitsue and Leslie will be missed by many, especially by their children - Mitsuko, Sadahiro, and Masaharu, granchildren Kenn, Alexander, Junn, and Lawrence, and great-grandchild Avery. 

They will be fondly remembered by their extended family in Hong Kong, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and California.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. and Mrs. Hom on Saturday, June 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services.
