Catherine I. Campbell

Catherine Campbell passed away June 13, 2020 in Alameda, CA after a short illness.  Catherine was born to Clara and Andrew Irwin.  She graduated from Dominican College with a Batchelor’s degree in Biological Science.  Catherine worked in the food industry including with Foremost Dairy, Hunt-Wesson and ConAgra Foods.

She married Robert Campbell and moved to Las Vegas, then to Berkeley and finally Davis, CA; living in Davis for over 65 years.  Robert preceded Catherine in death in 1980.  Catherine was a member of St. James Parish.  She was also involved with the Davis Senior Center and Meals on Wheels for many years.

Catherine is survived by her two children, Andrew Campbell of Sacramento, CA and Russ Campbell of Alameda, CA.  She is also survived by four grandchildren, Nicholas Damuth, David Campbell, Ryan Campbell and Ian Campbell.

Graveside services will be held at the Davis Cemetery, 820 Pole Line Rd, Davis, CA on July 6, 2020 at 10:00am.  Memorial donations can be made to Meals on Wheels Yolo County at https://www.mowyolo.org/donate
