Allen White

Allen P. White passed away July 7th, 2021 after his long battle with Leukemia. He was born in the Panama Canal Zone, Panama on November 22, 1954 to Essie and Edward White. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Bernadette White. His children Joseph White, Michael (Naomi), Mathew (Melissa) and Mallarie (Chris). His grandchildren Ryan, Patrick, Kailey, Andrew, April, Sophia, Lexi, Adrian, Andreas and Isaac. Preceded in death by his father Edward White, sister Sheri White and brother Michael White. Allen loved his family and he will be dearly missed.

Allen served 13 years in the United States Air Force as a Drill Sergeant for an all-female flight as well as a Jet Aircraft Mechanic. Shortly after leaving the military he began his career working with computers. He was an Operations Manager for Marathon Int., Program Manager for Fusion Storm and Resource Manager for Computacenter US. He was very proud of his certification as a “Project Management Professional”.

Allen had a love for music and playing his guitar (especially if he had a captive audience). He enjoyed trips on his Harley and he had a great love for his grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to Allen’s Celebration of Life on Saturday July 17, 2021 at 2:00PM. Service will be held at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services, 2694 Blanding Ave., Alameda.
