Alfred C. Wise and Mivy V. Wise

Born the late Orlando and Pearl Wise on July 12, 1926 in Brimfield, Ohio, Alfred peacefully passed away with his family by his side on March 16, 2019 at the age of 92.  He was preceded by his wife, Mivy Virginia Wise in June of 2018 and his son Terry Alfred Wise in December of 1992.

Alfred is survived by his children, Cindra Wise-Lee, Mivy Lee Wise-Johnston and Timothy Alfred Wise; and a host of  grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Alfred served in the US Army during WWII with the 10th Armored Infantry Battalion in the European Theater of Operations and with the 11th Armored Infantry.   He fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was stationed in Germany and Austria. 

He enjoyed gardening, pottery, hunting and the Hiller Aviation Museum.

Alfred and his wife Mivy will be laid to rest on Tuesday, March 26th at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
