Born in Alameda, CA on May 28, 1955 to Dr. Burton and Anne (Everingham) Adams, Valerie was the beloved wife of Chris Corpuz; mother of Ashley McKinley, Michelle Hudock, and Alexander Corpuz; grandmother of Talitha and Bethlehem McKinley; sister of Carolyn Arevalo, Patricia Harris, and Nancy Adams.

Valerie worked as a Registered Nurse at Alameda Hospital and as a Professor of Nursing at Holy Names University. She loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, above all else but also enjoyed spending time with family, playing board games, and walking her Labrador Retrievers.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Creekside Community Church, 951 MacArthur Blvd, San Leandro, CA 94577.
